Truck King International was formed in 1977 by Alan and Steven Steinberg. Already a family-owned full service truck leasing company (Salem Truck Leasing, Inc.) in business since 1965, Truck King wanted to offer a retail alternative to our customers in order to fulfill all of their trucking needs. With Truck King’s original location in Brooklyn, we quickly expanded throughout the metropolitan area to offer our customers an easily accessible dealership network. In 1988, we added Mitsubishi Fuso to our dealership ranks for light and medium duty cab over trucks. In 1990 we further expanded retail options and became a dealer for IC Corporation school buses. Recently becoming a dealership for IC Corporation Commercial Bus, Crane Carrier Company and Workhorse, Truck King International provides a broad spectrum of vehicles, parts and service that is unparallel to our competition. Truck King International retains its corporate headquarters in Brooklyn with six additional full service locations spanning the 5 Boroughs, Long Island and Northern New Jersey, offering optimal convenience and reliability for our customers.
